We redesigned Dodge Nature Center's website to combine nature and technology, creating a unique digital experience that entices Twin Cities residents to reconnect with their surroundings.
Dodge Nature Center had evolved and updated its offerings – and so had the internet – but its website didn't reflect these changes. The site needed to communicate the brand's evolution, so we set off on a digital exploration to incorporate new technologies and improve the user experience.
We've all heard the phrase “you have to see it to believe it.” And this is absolutely the case for Dodge Nature Center.
Morsekode sent our creative team out to experience the textures, sights, sounds, and smells of the nature center, and they returned brimming with inspiration. The resulting design strategy made browsing content on the site as simple and exciting as a stroll through the nature center.
Morsekode amplified Dodge Nature Center's digital presence with a new website, maintaining the brand's existing identity while capturing new assets as needed. An overhauled UX, UI and IA make the site fun and engaging. Enhancements like rollover animations and ambient video bring the user closer to the physical experience of the nature center. And it all serves to bring the brand to life for visitors on the web before they become visitors IRL.
